Overview:
Koneta's Memorial for the Killed and Missing and a memorial space currently being constructed in Kontea, Cyprus. The memorial aims to educate and remember the lives of all who were killed during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus. My goal for this project was to create a fitting logo for use at the memorial space and all other promotional material.
Logo Design
The logo itself is inspired by the physical space of the memorial as well as the art piece Wish by Haralambos Krasias. In the logo, there are two figures dancing around an olive tree meant to symbolize the connectedness and the continued growth and resilience of the people of Kontea.
